There's something special about the Coastal Artists' Current Exhibit!
While art shows at public
libraries are frequent in the San Diego area, our new exhibition at the Carmel Valley Library is a first. The library has never before invited an outside art group to exhibit in their Community Room.
Therefore, we are both pleased and proud to be the first art organization to be offered an opportunity to display in the Community Room. The "Creative Fusion" exhibition continues until the middle of August.
Nine 2-dimensional and three 3-dimensional artists are participating in the show. A total of twenty-six works are on display in the Community Room and eight in the general library.
Opening Reception for the Exhibit: A
Glass Menagerie, by artist Carol Korfin.
Handmade one-of-a-kind fused
glass animals and animal inspired pieces, large art pieces, small dishes,
pendants and earrings using translucent, opaque, dichroic, iridescent,
frit, millefiore, confetti, rods, stringers and noodles.
Meet the artist
and enjoy refreshments.
